The first Shot Edit copy.png

I started by drawing, etching, then 2D animation, then preproduction in films. Then my own films. AI got me into

previz, I can control the creation of an image more effectively and faster with pictures and words. Film production got me into team coordination, leadership and more moral values than I would have expected.

Life itself got me into systems thinking, through every economic crisis I watched countries endure. The Spanish taught me to be driven as a core skill: no matter what, no matter when. The French taught me restraint and that true courage

is silent. From Peru I got resourcefulness and Taichi, twenty years now.

From my father I got the secrets of the golden section, film grammar, Stanislavski, all my consoles and my first lens. From my mother and sister I got love, tons of it. My mother also gave me analytical thought and my need for justice and truth.
My wife made me thrilled about life. To have expectancy that joy lies ahead. Then she confirmed it by giving me two sons. My kids gave me a stake in the future, a window to my own biases, and the force to go through a wall — for them.
